摘 要:本研究以《中国大学生英语口笔语语料库》中的口语语料库的部分文本为数据来源,首先比较了两组不同口语水平学生的冠词使用正确率,然后从两组各选取5名学生进行个案研究。结果发现,从正确率来看,口语水平对不同学生的冠词使用并无影响;但个案研究的结果显示,高分组和低分组在冠词错误严重程度与广度上均有明显差别。同时在名词词组的表达上,高分组停顿倾向于出现在冠词前,低分组停顿常出现在冠词后,从而破坏了名词词组的完整性。This study investigated the use of articles in oral English by Chinese EFL learners of two different proficiency levels. The material used in this study was taken from the Spoken English Corpus of Chinese Learners. Both a quantitative analysis of 40 learners' article use and a close examination of 10 individual cases were carried out. The findings are as follows: no correlation was found between the learners' accuracy rate of article use and their oral English proficiency; case studies showed that the higher-score learners performed better than the lower-score learners in terms of the scope of and the seriousness of article errors and; the higher- score learners tended to pause before articles when they hesitated in uttering a noun phrase, whereas the lower-score learners often paused after articles, thus ruining the integrity of the noun phrase.
