摘 要:汉语社论与英语社论在语篇修辞模式方面存在一定的差异:在导语(Lead)部分,英语社论较多地直接切入主题,提出论点,而汉语社论却习惯于用说明形势、阐述重要性等来为主题作铺垫;在主体(Follow)部分,英语社论多呈线性发展,而汉语社论则出现更多的"转"与"曲折"现象;在结尾评价(Valuate)部分,英语社论注重用事实说话,措辞较温和,而汉语社论主观性较强,语气与措辞更具有战斗性。Some differences can be found in the rhetorical patterns of Chinese and English editorial texts. In the Lead part, English editorials place the argument statement at the beginning more often, whereas Chinese editorials are more likely to foreshadow the topic by stating the importance or situations. In the Follow part, English editorials seem to develop linearly, while more "Turns" tend to appear in the Chinese editorials. Moreover, the tone and language in the Valuate part tend to be much stronger in Chinese editorials than in English editorials
