摘　　要：针对目前国内高职公共英语教学的尴尬现状,结合教学实际,阐述了高职公共英语课在应用型人才培养中的重要作用,并从教材选择、课程设置、学生正确英语观形成和"双师型"教师培养等方面,构想出让高职公共英语教学摆脱现状,走以就业为导向、行业化的新型公共英语教学模式。Based on the present situation of public English teaching in China＇ s college, the paper expounds the importance of the course of public English in cultivating practical talents. It proposes that new public English teaching mode be market - oriented and specialization from the aspects of teaching material choice, curriculum, the students＂ idea of English and the development of double competency teaching staff.
