摘　　要：给出了一个含有参数λ的五次多项式基函数,是四次Wang-Ball曲线基函数的扩展。分析了此基函数的性质,基于该组基函数定义了带有形状参数的多项式曲线。曲线具有四次Wang-Ball曲线的特性,改变参数λ的值,可以调整曲线的形状。当λ=0时,曲线退化为四次Wang-Ball曲线。还讨论了两段曲线C1连续拼接的条件。实例表明,该方法应用于曲线设计是十分有用的。A polynomial base function of 5th degree with shape control parameter λ is presented which is an extension of base function of quartic Wang-Ball curve. Properties of this new base function are analyzed and the corresponding polynomial curve with a shape parameter λ is defined. This curve inherits the most properties of quartic Wang-Ball curve, and its shape can be adjusted through changing the value of λ This curve degenerates to quartic Wang-Ball curve when λ=0. The C^1-continuity condition of two segment curves is also discussed. Examples illustrate this method of constructing curves is useful for curve design.
