摘　　要：英语新课程标准特别强调要关注每个学生的情感，英语学习中的自我效能感是值得关注的要素之二。七年级新生英语基础参差不齐，基础薄弱者刚进初中就出现了紧张厌学的状态，而培养提高他们的自我效能感是解决这一问题的关键。教师可通过各种有效途径加以培养，从而进一步提高教学的有效性。New English curriculum standard emphasizes attaching importance to students＇ sentiment,and self-efficacy in English learning is worthy of notice. English competence of freshmen in junior high school is different. Some poor students show their passive learning condition, while improving students＇ self-efficacy is the decisive factor in solving this problem. Teachers can cultivate students＇ self-efficacy by various approaches so as to improve teaching efficiency.
