摘　　要：教师是办学的主体,是培养人才的人才。面对全球经济一体化、信息网络化发展的新趋势,面对中国教育改革和发展的新任务,特别是我国大学英语教学改革的新形势,学校加强青年外语教师培训工作就显得尤为重要。我国以往的大学英语培训中存在着许多不足之处,如培训课程不合理,培训内容单一,对教师培训标准上无明确要求等。针对这些情况,我们应重新确立大学英语教师培训的方向。Teachers are the main bodies in running a university, and they are the talented persons who are training men for profession. Facing to the new trend that global economy integration, the informa- tion network developing, new tasks of reform and development of Chinese education, especially, the new circumstances of reform of our college English, we all know it is an important job that universities reinforce the training of college teachers. In the past, there were a lot of defects in the training of col- lege English teachers, such as the unreasonable contents, unitary courses, no clear and definite re- quirements for the standard of teacher trainers. For these reasons, we should establish new direction for the training of college English teachers.
