摘 要:本文讨论Martin的语篇语义学与评价系统之间的关系。作者首先讨论了语篇语义学的内容,指出其核心是协商、识别、连接、概念等语篇系统。接着讨论了Martin在2000,2003年的著述中正式提出的评价系统。最后,作者结合Martin和White2005年的合著《评估语言》,指出评价系统是语篇语义学的语篇系统之一。《评估语言》的出版标志评价理论已经成熟,已经成为语篇语义学研究新阶段的旗帜。This paper discusses the relationship between the discourse semantics and appraisal system proposed by Martin. The author first discusses the content of discourse semantics, arguing that the discourse systems of negotiation, identification, conjunction and ideation are the central part of discourse semantics. Then the author turns to the appraisal system officially proposed by Martin in his writings in 2000 and 2003. In the end, the author, on the basis of The Language of Evaluation published in 2005 by Martin and White in particular, points out that the appraisal system is one of the discourse systems of discourse semantics. The publication of The Language of Evaluation signals that the appraisal theory has entered a mature stage and become the banner of discourse semantics now.
