摘　　要：和谐社会是历来中国人孜孜以求的理想社会。构建社会主义和谐社会具有深厚的中国传统文化底蕴,中国传统文化的基本精神为构建社会主义和谐社会提供了丰富的思想文化资源和深厚的历史文化背景。弘扬中国传统文化的基本精神,是构建社会主义和谐社会题中应有之义,对构建社会主义和谐社会具有重要的理论和实践意义。The harmonious society has been long - pursued by Chinese people. China has profound traditional culture for building a harmonious socialist society. The fundamental spirit of chinese tradional culture provides the building of a harmonious socialist society with abundant ideological and cultural resource and deep historical background. It is inevitable to carry forward the fundamental spirit of Chinese traditional culture in building a harmonious socialist society, in which it has significant theoretical and practical significance.
