The histological features are no too much difference among the three species are dealed.The essential histology structure is similar to mammalian and consists of mucosa,submucosa,muscular layer and serosa.The mucous epithelium of esophagus is simple columnar that differs from the mammalia′s.The lamina porpria of stomach contains a lot of glands,in the mucous epithelium of small intestine,the ratio of the absorbing cells and the goblet cells is about eight to one,there are a great number of goblet cells in the mucous epithelium of the large intestine also,the mucous epithelium of cloaca is simple columnar,this indicates that cloaca has function of absorption still.
