摘　　要：为了探索培养医学生英语自主学习能力的教学模式，本研究依托国内外英语自主学习理论，通过课内和课外相结合，充分利用网络、多媒体现代教育技术，扩展学习内容，为学生提供更大学习空间和更多学习资源，加强学生学习策略培训，改革学习效果评估方式等，建立了培养医学生英语自主学习能力的新教学模式，促进了医学生英语自主学习能力的提高。调查结果显示，学生对新教学模式持肯定态度。In order to set up a new teaching model to develop medical students＇ English self-directed learning ability, some reforms were carried out based on the theories of self-directed learning home and abroad. Students＇ English self-directed learning ability were improved through the combination of inclass and after-class activities with the help of muhi-media and web technologies, extension of the teaching and learning materials, cultivation of students＇ learning strategies and reform of students＇ learning effect evaluation manner. Good teaching effect had been gotten. The result of the questionnaire survey showed that the new teaching model had been approved by the students.
