摘　　要：“问题为本的学习”方法是国外教学教育领域引人注目的革新。行动研究是国际流行的一种教师研究和教师校本培训模式。笔者指出，将问题为本学习理论与行动研究整合起来从事英语教学，可以充分弥补双方的不足，发挥二者的优势，取得很好的教学效果，这是英语教师教育和课堂改革的新途径。＂Problem-based learning＂ is an impressive innovation in the field d foreign education. Action research is an internationally well-received mode of teacher study and training. It is pointed out in this paper that the theory of ＂problem-based＂ learning and action research in EFL teaching can complement each other if integrated and hence the integration will result in more effective teaching, which is an innovative approach to English teacher education and classroom teaching reform.
