摘　　要：美育作为高校素质教育的重要组成部分,在塑造学生的健康心灵与健全人格,培养学生的形象思维能力等方面具有不可替代的作用。面对理工类高校中存在的大学生欣赏美、表现美、创造美能力的相对缺乏这一现象,审美教育就显得尤为必要与紧迫。进行美育的途径,既包括潜移默化的积极引导,也包括有计划、有目的的予以实施,从而使美育真正融入到理工类高校的素质教育统一体当中。As an important part of the university's quality education,aesthetic education has played an irreplaceable role in many aspects,such as forming college students' healthy soul and personality and training their ability of thinking in images.Facing the phenomenon,some undergraduates in science and technology university are relatively short of appreciating beauty,representing beauty and creating beauty and aesthetic education seems to be necessary and urgent.Some approaches of developing aesthetic education are available.We can lead the education in positive manner and put into practice purposefully.Accordingly,aesthetic education can truly melt into the quality education of science and technology university.
