商务英语理据和课程设计原则

摘　　要：专门用途英语(ESP)是英语语言教学领域的一门分支学科,而商务英语则是ESP中最活跃的分支。近年来,随着世界经济和国际贸易的发展,商务英语在我国得到了迅猛发展,并且普遍进入了高校英语专业课程之中,成为培养外语复合型人才必不可少的课程。在ESP课程中,课程设计是最能体现课程特点的部分,它是基于教学理论和原则而产生的。本文以商务英语的理据及特征为依据,探讨英语专业商务英语课程设计的原则。English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a sub-branch in the English language teaching and business English is seen as the most dynamic area of ESP. In recent years, with the development of world economy and international trade, business English has also been developing rapidly and offered to college English majors as an indispensable course for training interdisciplinary talents of foreign languages. In the ESP course, syllabus design can best display the characteristics of the course, which is designed on the basis of teaching theories and principles. This paper, based on the theoretical reasons and characteristics of business English, discusses some principles of business English course design for college English majors.
