摘 要:学习者的外语学习观念对其外语学习有不可忽视的影响。构建科学的外语学习观念体系是改善外语学习效果的必需。因此教师必须首先了解和评价特定类型的学习者现有的基本外语学习观念。本研究以广东培正学院非英语专业本科新生为对象,通过调查问卷,并利用SPSS11.0统计软件对222名新生的外语学习观念进行了研究,旨在了解新生外语学习观念的基本内容特征,评价其观念体系的结构特点及问题,对教师帮助此类学习者构建科学的外语学习观念体系提出了一些建议。The influence of learner’s beliefs in foreign language learning on their acquisition of the target language cannot be ignored. It is necessary and urgent for learners in China to construct scientific belief systems hence to facilitate the effectiveness of their foreign language learning. Therefore,teachers should identify and evaluate learner’s existing beliefs in foreign language learning. Using SPSS 11.0 software to process the ques-tionnaires collected from 222 non-English major freshmen at Guangdong Peizheng College,the writer tries to identify the subjects’ foreign language learning beliefs and the characteristics of the beliefs. The writer comments on the construction features and problems existing in their belief systems. Finally,some suggestions are provided to teachers on how to help freshmen to construct their own scientific belief system in foreign language learning.
