摘　　要：研究如何在面向对象的机械CAD系统开发中借助统一建模语言UML与CASE工具———RationalRose来建造一个健壮的和易维护的机械CAD系统.提出了UML面向对象分析在机械CAD系统开发中的一般过程.并对CASE工具在机械CAD系统开发中的应用及其优越性进行了探讨.对提高CAD软件质量及软件开发效率,促进CAD的应用与发展具有一定的理论与应用价值.The idea and methods of the Object-Oriented technology are presented for the design and realization of a mechanical CAD system, some methods of development for a mechanical CAD system are discussed based on UML by the tool of Rational Rose. It is significative to import UML to the developing of mechanical CAD system and to research the application of UML in mechanical CAD system. This quickens the developing of Object-Oriented CAD system, accelerates the application of Object-Oriented method in engineering software, promotes the expansion and maintenance of software. All of these will provide some new thinking and methods for the development of mechanical CAD system.
