从文化视角试析英文影片名汉译问题

摘　　要：英文影片名的汉译应以体现影片主题、提供审美感以及其深邃的文化内涵和生动的语言吸引观众的眼球;寓意深刻、回味无穷的片名能够给影片予更多的感召力。因而电影片名的翻译是传递影片故事情节以及传达作品感召力的关键。由于中西方文化渊源和社会环境存在很大差异,译者应在忠实于原片名的基础上缩小源语与译入语之间的文化差距,使译名保持文化传播的意义和内涵,达到通俗易懂、富有美感的效果。The influence of the cultural differences between China and western countries on translation is worthy of study. According to the principles of translation （Faithfulness, Expressiveness and Elegance） from Yah Fu, it is well accepted to choose decent ways to translate English movie tides into Chinese from the cultural perspective with the purposes of spreading the cultural information, delighting the audience and increasing the box office income.
