摘　　要：海明威的诸多作品都充满了生态意识。本文拟以生态批评理论为指导,重新解读海明威的《老人与海》、《大双心河》、《乞力马扎罗山上的雪》、《最后一方清净地》等短篇小说,审视其中回归自然的文学表达。Reviewing Hemingway＇ s life and career, nature would be the touchstone of Hemingway＇s life and work. Robert Fleming said in the introduction part of Hemingway and the Natural World that ＂Few authors in history have been so clasely identified with the natural world as Ernest Hemingway＂ Indeed, Hemingway had never alienated himself from the natural world. During the whole life his adventuring in nature, traveling across the world, and bullfighting in Spain presented Hemingway＇ s real outlook about nature. He had learned to appreciate nature from his own experience and formed his nature complex and his ecological awareness.
