摘　　要：通过参加中国高等教育学会举办的数学建模研讨会,结合本校多年来的数学教学实践,着重从开设数学建模课程的教学过程和指导学生参加数学建模的竞赛活动两个方面阐述"数学建模"在高校数学课程建设中的重要角色,从而促进数学课程建设在深度广度上求发展。This paper discusses the important role of the mathematical modeling in the construction of the mathematical course in colleges and universities from the aspect of the mathematical modeling teaching and the instruction of the mathematical modeling competition . It also analyzed the problem through combining the accumulated teaching experiences with the practical teaching activities in instructing students to take part in the math modeling contest.
