从情态角度看《白象似的群山》的人际意义

摘　　要：运用Halliday的系统功能语言学人际功能的理论,从情态系统着眼对小说《白象似的群山》进行人际意义的分析。由情态助动词、情态副词、形容词及情态隐喻体现的情态系统反映了男女主人公的性格特点和对待彼此的态度,并由此推断了他们之间的人际关系,从而为小说的正确解读提供了客观依据。验证了从系统功能语言学角度解读文学作品的可行性和可操作性。The paper analyzed the interpersonal relationship represented in the White Elephant - looked Hills with Halliday＇ s theory of systematic functional linguistics . It thinks that the human relationship and bearing constituted with the modal verbs, modal adverbs and adjectives and metaphor of modality reflects the relationship and the characteristics between the main characters in the book . It proved that it is feasible to unscramble the implication of a literary works from the systematic functional linguistics perspective .
