摘　　要：本文在分析"淡化普通话"教学的各种观点的基础上,讨论国际汉语教学的性质、基本目标和基本任务,论述普通话在国际汉语教学中的核心地位,并强调普通话教学在国际汉语教学中应占有核心地位,教授普通话和规范汉字应成为国际汉语教学的基本原则和基本策略。On the basis of analyzing perspectives on decreasing the teaching of Mandarin, this paper has discussed the nature of Chinese teaching in the world as well as its primary goal and main task, and it has stated the key position of Mandarin in Chinese teaching in the world. This paper emphasizes the key position of Mandarin and holds that the teaching of Mandarin and standard Chinese character should become the key principle and basic strategy in Chinese teaching in the world.
