开设理工科专业科技英语课程的探索

摘　　要：在多年开设理工科专业科技英语课程的基础上,认为要使该课程真正达到其教学目标,必须注意以下四个方面:一是要明确专业科技英语的特点;二是要编写好专业科技英语教材;三是要紧紧抓住其语言特点实施教学;四是要培养出相应的师资力量,同时对相应的方法和途径做了探讨。After years＇ instruction of English for Specialized Science and Technology （ESST）, it is found that in order to realize the objectives of this course, the following four aspects should be noted： one is to clarify the features of scientific English ; the second is to develop a good ESST textbook ; the third is to instruct around the ESST language features; the fourth is to train the competent faculty. In addition, the corresponding approaches are explored.
