摘　　要：本文从课程设置、教学大纲、教学目标等方面阐述了工程力学课程在化学化工类专业本科生培养过程中的重要作用,总结了教学团队十多年来从事该课程教学和建设的实践与体会。论述了课程建设、教学方法创新、教学改革等要素对提高教学质量的重要作用。This paper analyzes the necessity of the Engineering Mechanics Course in various specialties in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. It expounds the importance for cultivating the talents in undergraduate education in the light of curse programming, syllabus and the teaching objective. After years of practice, fruitful results in course construction, teaching approaches and education reforms have been achieved The teaching standards are greatly raised and the quality of teaching is guaranteed.
