摘  要:近年来,大学生人文素质的培养与提高引起了教育界的广泛关注。但现实是,对于人文素质培养的探讨,基本上还是说得多,实践少。通过大学英语课堂,笔者充分发挥大学英语教材和现有教学资源的作用,注重人文素质培养理念的实质和精神,并创造条件将其付诸实践。经过多年的教学实践,逐渐摸索出了适合理工科院校培养和提高学生人文素质的经济有效、可持续发展的方法。The cultivation and enhancement of the humanistic quality of college students has become an urgent issue in the educational circles. But so far academic debates have outweighed practice. When trying to cultivate and enhance the students' humanistic quality, schools and educators should not be confined by certain weli-definod rules, and try to make good use of the present resources and find an economical and sustainable mode of cultivation. This paper introduces a feasible method to cultivate the humanistic quality in students of science and technology based on years of experiments and practice.
