摘　　要：基于莱考夫的隐喻理论,从文化认知视角研究英汉隐喻性习语的对应形式。通过分析自然环境、价值观念、人文精神、宗教信仰等影响人类隐喻性思维的文化因素,找出引起英汉隐喻性习语相似性和差异性的深层文化原因。Based on Lakeoff＇s theory on metaphor, the paper discussed the correspondence between English and Chinese metaphorical idioms from the perspective of cultural cognition. To find the cultural sources resulting in the similarities and differenees, it analyzed the cultural elements influencing the metaphorical human thought such as natural environment, values, humanism and religion,etc.
