摘　　要：多媒体在教学中的使用对于改变英语教学传统单一的教学模式,丰富教学内容的呈现方式,突出学生的主体性,营造良好的语言交际环境,拓展教学的交往性,激发学生的学习积极性,进而提高英语教学质量具有积极的作用。通过对多媒体及其特点的深入了解,重点分析多媒体在外语教学中的优势作用。The use of multi-media in teaching English language teaching has an active role for changing a single traditional modes of teaching, enriching the teaching content presentation, highlighting the main body of students, creating a good communication environment of the language, expanding the exchanges of teaching, stimulating the learning enthusiasm of students, and improving the quality of English teaching. Through understanding of the multimedia and its features deeply, the article analyzes the advantages role of multimedia in foreign language teaching.
