摘  要:经过多年的改革和实践,美国大学积累了培养目标具体明确、课程设置以人文社会科学为重心、教学形式严格而多样、重视通识教育与专业教育有机整合等许多丰富的通识教育经验。为了更好地促进我国大学通识教育的科学发展,需要借鉴美国大学的成功经验,联系实际,从课程设置、方法改革、模式完善、队伍建设等方面开辟出一条具有我国大学自身特色的通识教育科学发展之道。By reform and practice of a lot of years, American universities has accumulated abundant experiences in general education, such as concrete and clear training goal, paying more attention to humanities and social sciences in course offering, strict and diversiform teaching measures, stressing organic integration between general education and professional education, etc. To preferably improve scientific development of general edu- cation of universities in china needs to develop a general education way with self - characteristic and according with self-reality in setting up courses, reforming teaching means, improving modes, training teachers and so on, through drawing successful lessons from general education of American universities.
