摘　　要："成都鸟巢"事件,标志着舆论环境日益宽松和社会重心从形象工程向平民建筑的转变,这是多难兴邦的希望所在。历史上伟大而奢华的形象工程,会造成对社会资源的过度消耗,会加剧社会分配的不公。只有增加平民建筑的投入,才能缩小贫富差距,真正体现和谐社会的价值观。我国人口规模巨大所凸显出的平民建筑数量和质量的不足,以及震后重建的平民建筑特征,都决定了今后建筑业的重心必须转向平民建筑。进一步提出现阶段必须进行研究性的震后重建。最后指出,对平民建筑的重视,依赖政策、媒体视角的导向。The Bird＇s Nest incident which happened in Chengdu indicates the social focus transformed from image projects to civilian architecture,where a troubled country finds hope for future prosperity.Those mighty and luxury image projects,if looked back in history,were mostly ruination of the national decay.Only by increasing investment for civilian architecutre canm we narrow the gap between rich and poor,and embody the value of a hammonious society in deed.The center of China＇s buliding industry must tum to civilian architecture.left up to China＇s population size.lack of civilian architecture in both quantity and quality.and the feature of post-aarthquake reconstruction.So we further call the recessity of doing post-earthquake reconstruction through research in current stage,Finally,it is the fact that policy and mass media shape the importance of civilian architecture.
