摘　　要：In mid and late 19th century,appeared a new literary trend-critical realism. The critical realists described with much vividness and artistic skill the chief traits(characteristics) of the society and criticized the capitalist system from a democratic viewpoint. Mark Twain is one of the greatest representatives of critical realists. All the critical realistic features can be found in his novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. This essay is devoted to analyze the critical realistic elements of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.In mid and late 19th century, appeared a new literary trend-critical realism.
