摘  要:王尔德的小说《道连.格雷的画像》以其奇特的构思、机智的语言和巧妙的象征及隐喻表达了王尔德的唯美主义追求。小说中的主要人物都有明显的象征意义。亨利勋爵是当时维多利亚时期伪道德的解读者。主人公道连.格雷依据其诱导躬身实践他的教条,是现实生活的代表也是作者对现实生活中丑的揭露。画像是艺术家贝泽尔关于美的理想即艺术,它曾被现实不断篡改,生活与艺术一度交换了位置,最终的"逆转"表达的是作者的美战胜丑、艺术战胜生活的理想。Oscar Wilde's pursuit of Aestheticism was represented in his only novel the Picture of Dorian Gray with its unusual design, witty language and obvious metaphor. The main characters of the novel represent the different aspects the time. Lord Henry was the interpreter of the fake morality of the age. The protagonist, Dorian Gray, who was the representative of the reality, put his doctrine into practice accordingly. The picture is the artist, Basil's ideal pursuit which was once overturned by the reality and was once replaced by the reality. The eventual conversion ——It was Dorian himself that was destroyed not the picture just shows Wilde's real dream unconsciously.
