摘　　要：淮扬菜有着悠久的历史和深厚的文化底蕴,深受消费者喜爱,然而近年来各地假冒淮扬菜之名的行为屡屡出现,现有法律难以为淮扬菜提供有力的保护依据。通过地理标志的专门立法可以弥补现有法律体系的不足,为淮扬菜提供整体有效的保护,因此迫切需要将其纳入地理标志的保护范围内。With a long history and profound cultural deposits, Huaiyang cuisine wins great popularity. Present legislation doesn＇t ensure protection powerful enough against the counterfeit Huaiyang cuisine repeatedly coming up in recent years. This deficiency can be made up by specialized legislation of geographical indications which provide overall and effective protection for Huaiyang cuisine. As a result, it is in urgent to put Huaiyang cuisine into protection of geographical indication.
