简论罗素的中国教育问题

摘　　要：伯特兰·罗素是20世纪英国著名哲学家、教育家,他通过对中西教育进行比较,指出中国传统教育的优点及不足;他推崇理想教育及自由主义教育等,注重人的个性发展,着力培养人的理想性格。罗素的教育思想对当今推进素质教育有积极的借鉴意义。Bertrand Russell was well - known as philosopher and educator in the 20th century. He compared Chinese education with Western education, and pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of Chinese traditional education. He praised the ideal education and liberal education, and focused on personality development and cultivated human ideal personality. Nowadays his education thoughts have positive significance to all - around development.
