摘 要:本文探讨基于现代教育技术和应用语料库语言学的研究方法和成果,进行跨学科合作的ESP教学,这是有明确的课程定位、教学目标和教学模式,是由英语教师执教的、旨在训练学生用英语传递和表达专业信息能力的一种教学途径。通过建立和运用大型专业分类语料库,帮助学生和大学英语教师突破专业词汇的瓶颈,为跨学科的ESP教学打开新局面。这种ESP教学的必要性、可行性和具体实施方案也都在文章中作了探讨。In response to the appeal for college students' English competence, a new approach is explored in this paper. Based on interdisciplinary cooperation and the latest development of corpus linguistics, ESP teaching is suggested to be implemented in the first two years of the undergraduate program. Unlike that in the charge of each department, it is corpus-based, undertaken by English teachers, with the explicit objectives, pedagogy and evaluation, to promote English learning through specialized information. The classified corpora, featuring the prominent specialties of the university, are constructed to facilitate teaching for the ESP faculty and bring a new phase to the interdisciplinary ESP teaching. The necessity and feasibility of such ESP instruction are discussed along with the principles and procedures of the corpus construction.
