摘  要:Patrick R. Moran在跨文化交际研究方面颇有影响。基于对文化教学存在问题的思考,他就文化的界定、语言与文化的关联以及如何在语言课程的文化教学中加强"文化体验"和文化实践等问题提出了独到的见解。本文对其重要理论观点及特点进行介绍和评析,并就这些观点对我国语言课程中的文化教学的意义和影响发表自己的见解。Professor Patrick R. Moran works in American International Training School. He studied French in college and has accepted the professional training of intereulture, after that, he was sent to Cote d' Ivoire as a member of Peace Corps. He has ever been to many other French - speaking countries where he encountered different cultural difficulties. According to his own experiences and deep thin king about the definition of culture, the relationship between culture and language, and how to achieve the cultural understanding by using cultural experience and cultural practice, he showed deeper ,wider and new perspectives on Teaching Culture. This paper introduces and probes his important views about culture and language teaching. Based on his theories, which connect with the language teaching of teaching language in China, some viewpoints on its significance and effects are given.
