In recent, journalist of China Food Industry has been talking with Vince Gao Ph.D, Business Director, China & Pacific Proteomics and Small Molecules Business of Applied Biosystems (AB) on AB's successful business in China. AB has achieved great success since entered into China 20 years ago. Which programs did AB carry out with China's official organizations cooperatively? AB has successfully cooperated with CIQ. As the CIQ's first supplier of LC/MS/MS, we have provided more than 100 LC/MS/MS devices. We also cooperate to set up standards including testing method of pesticide residues with Qtrap. It is an accurate, rapid and convenient method which can test five to six hundred kinds of pesticides. At present, the method is under assessment. In addition, we are trying to communicate with CDC and willing to cooperate to screen unknown substances. What advantages do Qtrap systems have compared to traditional triple quad technology? How is the promotion going in China? At present, AB launches Qtrap 3200, 4000 and 5500 systems. The main differences among these products are sensitivity, screening speed and etc. Clients can select the type according to their individual requirements. Qtrap^((?))5500 Systems are the latest products which are the most sensitive and reliable instruments available for multi-component analysis and quantification, delivering the highest sensitivity and highest confidence in results.
