摘  要:独立学院是我国高等教育体制改革的产物。独立学院院长任职,既有民办高校校长任职的同性要求,又有自身的特殊性。聘任制是大学职业化的关键。独立学院院长由董事会聘任,但这还不是真正意义上的大学校长聘任制。独立学院未来将逐步转制为民办高校。我国大学校长职业化也有望在由独立学院转制而来的民办高校身上得到率先实现。Independent college is a product of the system reform of higher education in China. Similarities and peculiarities coexist in the appointment of a headmaster in independent colleges. The system of employment based a contract is the key to professionalization. In independent colleges, each headmaster is appointed by the board of directors, which is not regarded as real headmaster employment system of independent college. "In the future, independent colleges will be switched to private ones gradually. Therefore, professionalization of headmaster will be realized firstly in private universities in China.
