摘　　要：本文旨在探讨英语专业八级考试中英译汉试题认知语境框架的建构过程,以及在此基础上确立的翻译中选词择义的一般性理据原则:即语篇语境和主题与主题倾向关联性社会文化语境对翻译中选词择义的制约和影响。With a view to a primary discussion on the construction of cognition and contextual frame of sentence groups in E-C translation of TEM-8, the present essay, on the foundation of the frame, centers on the motivation for lexical meaningdetermination and choices of semantic items, guided by the principles of the passage context and the socio-cuhural context governed by the relevant theme and theme-inclination.
