摘  要:本文通过运用数学思想和方法来研究中小学英语教学的教学概念、词汇和句型教学的方法,阐述英语教学概念的模态化有利于教师提升教学理念,有利于教学双边培养可持续学习能力,形成教学良性循环。文章进一步论证在遵循语言学习由简到繁的规律性前提下,英语词汇教学的符号化、代数序列化以及英语句型教学的公式化、等式化和方程化有一箭多雕的功能:有利于让英语学习者掌握英语词汇和句型的规律,达到英语学习的精准性和系统性,提高英语学习效率;促进学习者提高逻辑思维能力,同步发展学习者的外语能力和数学认知能力。Mathematical thoughts and methodologies being applied to the study involved the concept of teaching English, lexical and syntactical methods, this paper tentatively elaborates its benefits from modalizing the concept of teaching English, which is conducive to the teachers' enhancement of teaching ideology, the bilateral cultivation of sustainable ability to learn, and the favorable cycle of English teaching and learning. Besides, this paper illustrates based on the conformity to the regularity of language learning featured by proceeding from simplicity to complexity, the respective application of symbols, algebraic expressions, and formulas, equations, X-equations to the teaching of vocabulary and sentence patterns can achieve multi-functions, facilitating the learners to master the regularities of English vocabulary and sentences, to reach the accuracy and systematization of English learning, to improve learning efficiency, to enhance the learners' logic thinking, to propel the synchronous development of learners' foreign language competence and mathematical cognitive ability.
