摘　　要：目的性翻译行为不仅是目的性行为,也是经济行为。在市场环境中,只有满足了译文接受者的要求,才能实现翻译工作者的利益。因而根据功能翻译理论,选择符合译文功能的策略进行翻译,是合乎经济性原理的行为,必将带来翻译业的可持续性发展。Translating is not only a purposeful activity but also an economic act.In any given market,the translator won t realize his own interest until he has satisfied his receivers requirements.Therefore,it is economically justifiable to select a translation strategy fit for the intended purpose of the target text in accordance with Skopos theory.Such practice will surely be contributive to the sustainable development in the translation trade in the long run.
