摘　　要：多媒体网络外语教学是信息技术与外语教学相结合的产物。作为一种全新的教学手段,它的发展和应用对外语教学的理论与实践产生深远的影响,导致深刻的变革。着重探究信息技术应用于外语教学的理论依据,即建构主义学习理论、多种智力理论和图式理论。基于这些理论,进一步分析多媒体网络外语教学的特点及多媒体辅助外语教学设计的指导原则。Multi-mediums and nets in foreign language teaching is a combined product of information technology and foreign language teaching. As a new teaching means, its development and application have influenced the theory and practice in foreign language teaching. They have caused further reformation in foreign language teaching. The paper focuses on researching the theoretical basis of information technology which is used in foreign language teaching, that is structural learning theory, multi-intelligence theory, charted theory.
