英汉语标点符号语用功能研究

摘　　要：参照韩礼德的语言功能理论,结合具体例子来说明英汉语标点符号实际上都具有概念、谋篇、文体修辞(含人际)功能。此外,英汉语标点符号还具有语汇替换功能。Based on the functional theory of linguistic put forward by M. A. K.Halliday,which argued that Both English and Chinese punctuation play three pragmatic functional roles ：ideational,textual and stylistic/rhetorical （with interpersonal functions included）. Additionally,substitutional function also exists in these two systems of punctuation. All these pragmatic functions are exemplified and illustrated in this paper.
