对理工科学生课外阅读材料选择的调查分析

摘　　要：本文以144名兰州交通大学非英语专业理工科学生为对象,采用问卷和访谈形式进行学生课外阅读材料选择的研究。结果表明,学生对英语阅读材料有以下需求:语言实用性强,难易度适中;话题有趣味性、知识性;文章篇幅长短适中;标题本身有吸引力,能激发好奇心;阅读材料的选择与学习动机成正比。The article chooses 144 science students whose majors are not English from Lanzhou Jiaotong University as subjects in the form of questionnaires and interview,the results show the students have the following requirements for English reading materials： Language has strong practical functions and has moderate level;The topics are interesting and knowledgeable;The length of passage is moderate;The title is attractive itself and can stimulate curiosity;The choice of reading materials is directly proportional to learning motivation.
