新形势下西部新建师范院校的办学选择

摘　　要：应高等学校外延发展需要设立的西部新建师范院校,走过了近十年的办学历程,目前面临高等教育发展的新形势:即由外延发展向内涵发展的转变;西部中小学办学规模的锐减和师范生就业难的问题;在办学方面存在着认识上的误区和办学的实际困难。因此,这是西部新建师范院校应做出的选择:尽快融入高等教育由外延向内涵发展的主流;坚持为社会主义新农村建设服务;坚持师范和非师范的协调发展。Over the past ten years, the teachers＇ universities that are set up to meet the development are currently faced with new developments, namely, the external expansion to internal extension, decreasing of enroll-ments, and employment dilemma for the graduates. Adaptations and proper options should, therefore, be found to enable teachers＇ universities to achieve a sustainable development, so as to contribute to new and soclialist rural construction.
