摘　　要：区域中心城市是世界各国各个阶段经济发展的基础平台。但是,抛开区域中心城市及其与所在区域各个方面的有机关系,就会出现人为的不科学引导,导致不切合地域实际的畸形发展现象。因此,本文从区域中心城市本身发展模式、应该具备的功能及其和下位县区的地域关系、区域层级关联等方面出发,重点论述南阳市作为区域中心城市和河南省次中心城市建设的着眼点、着手处,详细说明区域中心城市规划建设的基本要素和框架模式等。Regional central cities are the basic platforms of the world economic development at various stages. If regardless of the relation of ＂Regional Center City＂ and various aspects of the organic connections of the area in the city, it will lead to unscientific guidance, and this phenomena does not match actual geographical situation and even causes abnormal development. Therefore, starting from the points of regional center city development model, its function, the lower and the geographical relationship between the county and regional hierarchy and so on, this paper focuses on construction of Nanyang City as a regional center and sub-center-city of Henan Province. It has described the basic elements and the framework models for Regional Center City Planning and Construction in detail.
