摘　　要：本文简要回顾了全国英语等级考试开考十年来的成功发展历程,着重论述了发挥PETS考试的特色作用,努力服务于社会和考生与做好口试考官的培训工作,促进PETS考试的继续健康发展两方面,并对今后改进PETS口语考试工作提出了建议,以便进一步完善考试的相关工作。This article makes a brief summary of the successful development of PETS since it began ten years ago, focusing on two points： to make full use of the features and characteristics of PETS and strive to serve the society and examinees; and development of PETS. Also s to improve oral examiners training and promote the sound and continuous uggestions on how improve oral English Test of PETS are put forward so as to perfect its relative work.
