摘　　要：我国的艺术学研究裹足不前,现状堪忧,主要问题是学科定位不准、研究对象不明、研究方法陈旧。学科建设中少有人明确意识到根本的问题是在研究的文化背景和哲学基础上,虽有不少研究论述,但多在具体问题上做文章,有的研究者在学理上处境尴尬。本研究虽解决不了这些大问题,但它是方向性的一己之见。The study of art in China is stagnant at present mainly due to improper disciplinary positioning, unclear research objectives and old - fashioned research methods. Though some researches have be done in the area and the researchers have realized that the fundamental issue lies in the cultural background and philosophical basis, yet they only focused on some practical issues Some of them are in a rather methodologically and theoretically awkward situation. This paper is some personal thinking concerning research direction though it does not intend to find solutions to these big problems.
