摘　　要：在对183位英语专业研究生进行问卷调查、对23位导师和25位研究生进行访谈的基础上，本文尝试从学术能力发展角度界定英语专业研究生导师的内涵，解析导师的功能，期望对研究生教育体系建构有一定启示意义。Based on a questionnaire survey of 183 English postgraduates and interviews with 23 English postgraduate supervisors and 25 English postgraduates, this paper attempts to define the connotation of English postgraduate supervisors and probe into the function of them from the perspective of academic competence development, with the purpose of providing certain enlightenment for the construction of the postgraduate education system.
