摘　　要：美国经济的发展和高等教育的普及在很大程度上得益于社区教育的发展,其开放性、多科性、综合性、服务性以及广泛的适应性在教育等方面发挥了重要的职能,被认为是美国教育的最大成果之一。本文在比较分析了美国社区教育与我国自学考试教育制度的异同,结合我国自学考试教育的实际,论述了其对我国自学考试教育改革的启示。American community colleges have played an important role in education development for their openness,multidiscipline,comprehensiveness,service and wide adaptation.Moreover,it's of great significance to the economic development and the popularization of higher education of U.S,which is considered to be one of the biggest achievements of American education.The paper compares and contrasts American community education with Chinese self-taught education,and discusses reforms of the system to resolve its existing problems.
