英汉空间表征的体验性认知比较研究

摘　　要：文章以体验假设为理论依据对英汉空间表征进行了对比研究,通过认知途径探索了空间概念的形成、意像图式的建立、语义的建构和表现形式,以跨语言和跨文化例证作为研究语料,透视建立在体验基础上的空间表征的认知方式。This paper presents a contrastive study of the spatial representation in Chinese and English in the framework of the embodiment hypothesis. The study adopts a cognitive approach toward the formation of the spatial concept, the image schema and the semantic construction expressed in different languages. Evidence from cross-linguistic and cross-cultural perspectives serves as the base for mirroring the cognition of spatial representation through physical and cultural experiences.
