摘  要:随着社会对复合型人才需求的不断增加,医学英语作为一门专门用途的英语越来越受到重视,但长期以来,教学效果并不理想。焦虑作为最关键的情感变量之一,对语言的影响不容忽视,过度焦虑对医学英语的学习有阻碍作用。本文主要探讨医学英语学习过程中导致学生焦虑心理产生的因素以及减轻、消除焦虑的应对策略。As the society' s demands for interdisciplinary talents has been constantly increasing, medical Eng- lish as English for specific purpose is receiving more attention. However, for some quite time the teaching and learning effects have not been satisfactory. As one of the most critical variables of emotion, the impact of anxi- ety on the learning of medical language cannot be ignored. Over-anxiety has a passive effect on the study of medical English. This article focuses on the anxiety-causing factors in the process of medical English learning and strategies to reduce and eliminate the anxiety.
