摘 要:文化心理可按层次划分为表层、中层和深层。深层文化心理埋藏于民族心理的底层,其形成过程连续、持久和漫长,是整个民族文化心理最具特色、最传统和最根深蒂固的部分,并以一种无意识的方式控制和规范着人们有意识的行为活动。以儒家思想为核心的中国文化在国民的民族心理留下深深的烙印,并且内化为一种影响其行为和价值判断的中国文化心理。崇尚权威、中庸心态、主体缺失是中国文化心理中重要特点,它们对中国学生的英语学习产生了负面影响。中国文化心理研究对我国英语教学有一定的启示。Structurally, cultural psyschology can be divided into surface tier, middle tier, and deep tier. The deep tier of cultural psychology, which involves a continuous, enduring, and long formative process, is harboured in the depth of its people' s psychology. As a most characteristic, traditional, and deep-rooted part of the cultural psychology of a nation, the deep tier of cultural psychology unconciously controls and regulates people' s conscious behaviors. The Confucian thought, the core of the Chinese culture, has deeply imprinted itself in its people' s psychology, and has been internalized in its national cultural psychology, affecting the behaviors and value judge- ment of Chinese people. Among the important features of the Chinese cultural psychology, upholding authoritarianism, favoring the notion of "golden mean", and disregarding individualism have all yielded negative impacts on the English learning of Chinese students. The study of Chinese cultural psychology can produce inspirations for language teaching.
